The World Hepatitis Alliance is an international umbrella organisation seeking a world without viral hepatitis. We work on policy change, capacity building, access and awareness, and we coordinate World Hepatitis Day every year in partnership with the World Health Organisation (WHO). Every year, World Hepatitis Day is a significant global platform for raising awareness about hepatitis and influence real change in disease prevention, testing and treatment.
Our membership is composed of over 170 organisations who work in the field of viral hepatitis, representing every region of the world. The Alliance is patient-led and patient-driven. In this way, the Alliance is the global voice for the 500 million people worldwide living with viral hepatitis.
