Have you been diagnosed with kidney disease? You're not alone. South Africa's National Kidney Foundation (NKF) notes that a total of 10% of all people in the world have some form of kidney disease. Sadly, in South Africa, we have a special problem. "Kidney failure in the black population is four times higher than other groups - due to the high incidence of hypertension," says the NKF.
