As a member, you have the opportunity to elect candidates to the Board of Trustees.
The nomination of candidates will take place from 17 March to 15 April 2011. Nominations must be submitted using the Official Nomination Form.
The completed Nomination forms must be submitted to: The Returning Officer, GEMS Board of Trustees Elections 2011 by 17h00 on 15 April 2011, through any of the following methods:
It is important that all Principal Members participate in the nomination process, as the effective governing of the affairs of the Scheme depends on the strength and integrity of the Board. By participating in the election process, members contribute to the appointment of trustees who have the appropriate attributes to make GEMS an outstanding medical scheme.
Once the Nomination Audit is concluded and the final list of candidates produced, a ballot will be prepared which will list the names of all the candidates in alphabetical order.
