Termination of the old GEMS pharmacy network

GEMS established a new Pharmacy Network in 2013 in order to improve access to medicine for members and their beneficiaries. This network, known as the Medicine Provider Network (MPN) replaces the ‘old' GEMS Pharmacy Network and is made up of the
courier and contracted community pharmacies.

GEMS would therefore like to notify all members and beneficiaries that the old GEMS Pharmacy Network will be terminated on 30 April 2014. You are encouraged to use pharmacies and service providers that are part of the MPN. Should members continue to use service providers on the previous network, they will be required to make a 30% co-payment.
