Hilda's fraud case on hold

Controversial reflexologist Hilda Khoza has to wait two more weeks to learn if she will go to jail.

Judgment could not be handed down yesterday because the magistrate had not completed evaluating the evidence.
Khoza, 41, appeared briefly in the Johannesburg magistrate's court to face 370 charges of fraud relating to contraventions of the Medical Schemes Act and the Allied Health Professionals Act.

She allegedly used false Medscheme practice number to defraud 20 medical aid schemes. She also used the name of a deceased physiotherapist and those of two homeopaths and a physiotherapist to submit false claims.
